School Introduction

The School of Electronics and Information   Engineering (EIE) is one of the rapidly developing schools at Hebei   University of Technology (HEBUT), and also one of the schools that trains the   most international students. In recent years, it has admitted nearly 60   international doctoral and master's students from more than 20 countries   around the world.

EIE has a postdoctoral scientific research   station in Electronic Science and Technology, a doctoral program in   Electronic Science and Technology, and three master's programs in Electronic   Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, and New   Generation Electronic Information Technology.

EIE has a strong faculty and close international   exchanges and cooperation. There are currently 32 full-time professors, 38   associate professors, 36 doctoral supervisors, and 90 master's supervisors;   Most of them have overseas study or work experience.

EIE has First-rate scientific research conditions   and remarkable scientific research achievements. There are now the Tianjin   Key Laboratory of Electronic   Materials and Devices, Hebei Province Key Laboratory of Advanced Laser   Technology and Equipment, Electronic Devices and Systems Collaborative   Innovation Center, and the 12th Five Year National Electronic and   Communication Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, which provide good support   for talent cultivation.

Major Introduction

Information   and Communication Engineering is a rapidly developing discipline at Hebei   University of Technology and a key discipline of the university. Having a   well-organized academic team, with the main backbone having experience   studying abroad at prestigious universities, cultivates the largest   number of students studying abroad and international students in China. This   major has a certain international influence.

Recruitment research direction:

1. Modern Communication and Wireless Networks:   Research on modern communication theory and technology, optical communication   and its optoelectronic information processing, wireless networks, wireless   sensor networks, and unmanned systems.

2. Intelligent Information Processing: Research   on information perception, expression, and processing methods based on   artificial intelligence and big data technology, and their applications in   image processing, multi-dimensional signal processing, wireless   communication, and other fields.

Educational System

The   basic study period for master’s students is 3 years, and the maximum study   period is 4 years.
