School Introduction |
The School of Electronics and Information Engineering (EIE) is one of the rapidly developing schools at Hebei University of Technology(HEBUT), and also one of the schools that trains the most international students. In recent years, it has admitted nearly 60 international doctoral and master's students from more than 20 countries around the world. EIE has a postdoctoral scientific research station in Electronic Science and Technology, a doctoral program in Electronic Science and Technology, and three master's programs in Electronic Science and Technology, Information and Communication Engineering, and New Generation Electronic Information Technology. EIE has a strong faculty and close international exchanges and cooperation. There are currently 32 full-time professors, 38 associate professors, 36 doctoral supervisors, and 90 master's supervisors; Most of them have overseas study or work experience. EIE has First-rate scientific research conditions and remarkable scientific research achievements. There are now the Tianjin Key Laboratory of Electronic Materials and Devices, Hebei Province Key Laboratory of Advanced Laser Technology and Equipment, Electronic Devices and Systems Collaborative Innovation Center, and the 12th Five Year National Electronic and Communication Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, which provide good support for talent cultivation. |
Major Introduction |
Electronic Science and Technology is a national key discipline cultivation project discipline, a domestic first-rate discipline in Hebei Province's "Double First Class" construction, and a provincial-level key discipline, and it has high international influence. Recruitment research direction: 1. High-power laser and electronic information technology: Research on high-power laser technology, devices, and their applications; Research on microelectronics technology and materials, micro-nano optoelectronic materials and devices, as well as low-power and high-speed electronic devices. 2. Intelligent information processing and wireless communication: Research on information perception, expression, processing methods, and applications based on artificial intelligence and big data technology; Research on wireless channels and their radio wave propagation theory and technology, smart antennas, wireless networks, and unmanned systems. |

Curriculum Plan |
1. Course learning: Doctoral students should complete at least 16 credits, and course learning is generally completed within one academic year. The major courses mainly include Advanced electromagnetic field theory, Laser Optics, Big Data and Data Mining, Modern Image Analysis, etc. 2. Dissertation work: including literature research, dissertation proposal, mid-term report, dissertation writing, dissertation review, dissertation defense, etc. International doctoral students should take no less than one and a half years from passing the dissertation proposal to conducting the dissertation defense. |

This major has a strong team of doctoral supervisors and currently has 36 doctoral supervisors. To ensure the quality of the supervisor's teaching staff, the doctoral supervisor in this major undergoes an annual enrollment qualification review by the university and a qualification review by the School of International Education before admitting international doctoral students.
